Ofir Marciano has ended speculation linking him to Celtic as the Hibs favourite joins Dutch giants Feyenoord, following the expiry of his Easter Road deal.

The Israeli international was heavily linked with Celtic ahead of this summer as his Hibs contract came to a close. Marciano had also confirmed before the close of the 2020/21 season that he would be leaving Hibs after five fruitful years in Scotland.

He now moves to Eredivisie club Feyenoord, who will compete with Hibs in the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League this season, Marciano competing with goalkeepers like Justin Bijlow for the number one spot.

Marciano said of his move to Netherlands: “This is such a big club. I am looking forward to being able to show myself here and want to be important for Feyenoord. And I can’t wait to greet the supporters in a packed stadium.”
