Hibernian head coach Paul Heckingbottom has made an intriguing prediction ahead of next season. He is adamant that the Easter Road side have not finished buying players this summer.
Hibs have already made three signings this summer. However, Heckingbottom has vowed to make more additions to the squad.
“We were really strong on a few targets and on the positions we wanted to strengthen” he said, as reported by the Evening News.

“Still working towards that”
“We had twice weekly meetings, we got the budget agreed, we knew what we were going for, what we were going to do, and we are still working towards that.”
The fact that Heckingbottom has revealed that Hibs are ‘still working towards’ signings indicates that he wants to bring more players into the club.

Still need a striker
So far, the Easter Road side have signed Scott Allan, Adam Jackson and Joe Newell. However, none of those players are a striker.

Hibs still need to bring in another attacker, and fans will hope that Marc McNulty returns to the club. The Reading striker was a big success on loan in the second-half of last season.
Should McNulty be added to the Hibernian ranks ahead of next season it would add to what has been a successful summer transfer window for Heckingbottom’s side so far.
