Aberdeen star Ash Taylor knows that at the moment points are far more important than performances for the Dons. They need to get as many points as they can in order to keep the pressure on Hibernian in the battle for third in the Scottish Premiership.
That is why the player would take an ‘ugly win’ at Celtic Park on Saturday when the Dons travel to Glasgow. Taylor would no doubt like his side to go and put on a footballing clinic if possible. But with only eight games left this season it is all about results.
“Expectations at this club are high”
“The expectations at this club are high, and so they should be, we know that as players here” he said.

“We have to rise to that and get the results. That’s all that matters when you get to this point of the season, and I’ll take an ugly win right now if that’s what it needs on Saturday” Taylor stated.
The player is confident after recent win
The player feels that Aberdeen can go into the game with confidence after the team’s barren run came to an end last week in the 1-0 win over Kilmarnock.

“Going on and getting the win against Kilmarnock last Saturday was pleasing. So I think we can go into the game with some confidence. We’re at the stage of the season where it’s all about results. So we’re going there to try and win the game. We know how important three points would be” Taylor concluded.
As it stands, Aberdeen trail Hibernian by four points and the Easter Road side have a game in hand. Therefore, every point gained is vital for Aberdeen if they want to finish third.
