Raith Rovers have been rewarded for progression to the quarter-final stage of the Premier Sports Cup by landing a date with Celtic at Parkhead.

The Kirkcaldy side eliminated Aberdeen on Sunday to become the only Scottish Championship side in the draw, alongside seven Premiership teams. John McGlynn’s side will travel to Glasgow for a match against Celtic next month in what will be a financial boost to the club. McGlynn worked as a scout at Celtic under Brendan Rodgers.
