Reece Cole has signed for QPR after almost a year out of football following a loan spell at Partick Thistle.
The midfielder, previously at Brentford, was released in the summer as his Bees contract came to a close. Despite impressing for the Jags in the 2019/20 season, he has been without a club this campaign, QPR now moving for his services.

He links up with the QPR U23s side initially and has penned a short-term deal until the end of the season. Cole was in good form while at Partick Thistle, featuring 25 times with four goals in Maryhill.
His impressive spell coincided with now QPR teammate Osman Kakay’s impressive Jags form on loan from Loftus Road. While the right-back returned to England in January 2020, Cole penned a loan extension until the end of the season.
But it didn’t end in great terms for Thistle, who after finding themselves bottom of the Scottish Championship with games spare, were relegated to League One after the division was brought to a premature end.
