It’s been on the rumour mill for months- but now Reagan Thomson has finally completed his move to Newcastle United.
The youngster has been touted with a move to the Magpies for some time now. He’s been linked with the likes of Celtic and Rangers too but now Thomson has picked his new club.
Although only 16 years of age, Reagan made 9 first team appearances for Queen’s Park and is the latest in a long line of youth prospects to emerge from our thriving youth academy. pic.twitter.com/2nU55PIAxM

He’ll be remaining in Black and White right enough as he swaps Queen’s Park for the Toon.
One for the future
Thomson is a product of the Glasgow club’s famous youth academy. In recent times Queen’s Park have given a platform to the likes of Champions League winner Andy Robertson and prolific Dundee United forward Lawrence Shankland.
Newcastle will be hoping Thomson is the next success story to come from the League Two club. Whilst only 16, he has made 9 appearances at senior level for the Spiders.

It’s a blow for them, but with big names like Newcastle waiting to claim him, Queen’s Park were always going to lose Thomson at some point. They’ll be delighted he’s got his big move to the Premier League.
Perhaps the teenager will be one to keep an eye on as he looks to forge a career for himself with the Magpies.
