Partick Thistle are said to be keen on signing Rangers duo Lewis Mayo and Jake Hastie as Ian McCall looks to make more signings from the cinch Premiership champions (DR).

Kieran Wright, Rhys Breen and Zak Rudden are just some of the names to swap Ibrox for Maryhill in the past couple of seasons. Mayo himself was on loan at Partick Thistle from Rangers in the curtailed 2019/20 season and spent last term at Dunfermline Athletic.

Hastie was at Motherwell for the 2020/21 Premiership campaign but struggled to make an impact for Graham Alexander’s side.  Now the Rangers youth pairing could head out of Ibrox to McCall’s Thistle ahead of the new league season.

Queen of the South travel to Firhill on Saturday as Partick Thistle kick off their Championship campaign after winning League One last term.

McCall is looking to add new faces to his squad ahead of the weekend.
