Marc McNulty says he would be ‘happy to have a chat’ about returning to Dundee United as the Reading loanee prepares for the final week of his loan stint.
The striker has been a regular pick for Micky Mellon’s team this season, who lost in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Saturday. McNulty will return to Reading in the summer as his loan expires but he won’t rule out a Tannadice return.

He said: “If the offer is there, and the manager at Reading says that my services are no longer wanted down there, then I would be happy to have a chat. I have loved my time here, I have felt very welcome. That is from Tony (Asghar), who runs the club, right down to all the staff and the boys.
“They have all been brilliant. This is a really good club and it is one which is going places. If they wanted to have me back I will definitely be having a chat with the gaffer. I need to go back to Reading, I have another year left on my contract so I need to report there at the end of June.
“I will have a discussion with the manager and then we will see where we are at.”
