And so it is Edinburgh derby week with the Premiership’s bottom two set to go head-to-head, which is a sentence not may fans of either side would have been expected to be reading.

Hearts jumped off bottom spot at the weekend with a 4-0 thumping of St Mirren on new manager Neil Critchley’s first game in charge and they jumped ahead of David Gray’s Hibs after their loss to Dundee United.

The struggling sides will now meet for the first time this season in what could be an epic encounter, for very different reasons to what we usually see in the capital clash.

Elsewhere, there is a ‘New Firm’ derby between Aberdeen and Dundee United who have both had brilliant starts to the season with the Dons keeping their unbeaten start intact at Celtic last weekend.

There are other huge games up and down the country so here is a look at the refereeing teams for each game.
