Rhys Breen has joined Dunfermline Athletic on a permanent basis from Rangers as the defender swaps Ibrox for East End Park.

The centre-back has joined the cinch Championship club from Rangers on a two-year deal ahead of Dunfermline’s league opener against Greenock Morton on Saturday. Breen was on loan in America at Orange County from Ibrox but returns to Scotland early for the beginning of his Dunfermline spell.
