Robbie Neilson has provided a mixed injury update for Hearts fans, with Preston loanee Josh Ginnelly set to be missing for the trip to Dunfermline.
The Jambos travel to Dunfermline this evening, who have started the Championship season brilliantly with three wins and a draw away to Ayr United.
Hearts are expected to take the title this season and return to the Premiership but the Pars have proven they won’t be allowed to waltz through Scotland’s second tier.
An injury update has been provided ahead of the game. Players who have been away on international duty, Liam Boyce, Craig Gordon and Michael Smith, are all fit following their Northern Ireland and Scotland endeavours.
Preston loanee Ginnelly is the only concern, still struggling with an injury picked up away to Arbroath last month: ” They’re all good. Michael’s in just now getting a rub, Liam’s on the ferry back and Craig is just resting and comes back in with us tomorrow.
“I’m pleased that they’re all fit and well and glad that they got some game time as well. It was good for the boys last night and Liam getting the goal was great. It’s been a good week.
“The main thing for me is that they came back fit, which they have done so I’m pleased from that side of it and we now focus on tomorrow night’s game.
“Everyone is all good. Josh Ginnelly is the only one that’s not quite ready to come back in but we hope to have him either Tuesday or the following Saturday.”
