Ross County have managed to record their first league victory over Celtic in eight years and their second in three months overall.
Jordan White’s second half header secured a memorable 1-0 win for John Hughes’ Staggies as Celtic were left reeling after another set-play mishap, over 40% of goals conceded by the Hoops this season coming from said situations.

While the poor season at Celtic Park has been well-documented, few gave Ross County a chance in this tie, despite the 2-0 League Cup victory at Parkhead last year. But points were needed in their battle to remain a Premiership club.
They managed to secure three big ones as White met a Harry Paton free-kick, his second goal since arriving from relegation rivals Motherwell last month. It’s a win that moves them out of the relegation places.
Hughes has now masterminded victories over Aberdeen, Celtic and Hibs while Staggies boss, but he will be eager to find a way to beat those around him, Motherwell, Kilmarnock and Hamilton all picking up points against them over the course of this term.

But this one is certainly going to live long in the memory for fans who have been sharing their thoughts on proceedings.
