Turkish giants Galatasaray are said to be interested in Hibs centre-back Ryan Porteous, who was subject to a bid from English Championship club Millwall (Sun).

The Den club had a bid rejected in February for the centre-back, who has established himself as a first-team regular at Hibs at 22. But now there is interest from Europe too alongside Millwall, Super Lig side Galatasaray.

Tracking the Scotland cap for over a year now, Galatasaray are said to be ready to test Hibs’ resolve with a bid of £1 million plus for Porteous. Chairman Ron Gordon has conceded that some key players may leave Easter Road in the summer, but Jack Ross is under no pressure to part with his key players.

Galatasaray will put a firm offer to Gordon in the next few days as Hibs brace for formal interest in Porteous. The deal would be worth significantly more than £1 million in terms of add-ons.
