Sam Cosgrove has sent a message to Aberdeen fans following their 1-1 draw with Hibs.
Cosgrove himself salvaged a point for the Red Army in the final moments, netting a header as the nine man Dons walked away with a draw.

The striker thinks it showed his side’s ‘character’, sending a message to supporters in the process.
He told the Daily Record (The Winner, page 3, 07/10/19): “This showed the character that was lacking last week.
“Even though it wasn’t three points I think the fans appreciated it, going down to 10 and then nine men and still getting some sort of a result.

“After the first red I’d say we were the better team by miles. Hibs had a couple of chances on the break but you’d expect it to be the other way around.”
Cosgrove doing his bit to please Aberdeen fans
You can criticise Cosgrove’s all-round play all you want, but you can’t take away the formidable goalscoring record the Englishman is creating.
He’s netted a pretty spectacular 14 goals in 15 games. Yes Cosgrove has scored a few of them from the spot, but no matter how he’s scoring them, where would they be without his goals?

Once again the striker stepped up in Aberdeen’s moment of need. The 22-year-old is getting better and better with every passing game and is proving himself to be a man for the big occasion.
Cosgrove saved Aberdeen fans from total despair against Hibs with his last moment escapades.
