Sam Cosgrove has thrown his support behind Dave Cormack’s Aberdeen takeover.
It has been announced that Stewart Milne will step down as Dons chairman next month, with Cormack set to take Aberdeen into a new chapter of the club’s history.

Cosgrove believes this major development can only be good news for the club.
“I’ve only been here for two years but you can see the influence the chairman has had around the club,” Cosgrove told the Evening Express (page 41, 25/11/19).
“However, Dave Cormack will add a new sense of energy and it’s definitely a positive for the club.”
Atlanta partnership also confirmed
As part of this deal, the club will enter into a strategic partnership with MLS side Atlanta United. Milne will step down from his role as chairman after the club’s AGM on December 16.

Then Cormack will come in, who has vowed to bring the financial muscle that could allow Aberdeen to properly challenge Celtic and Rangers.
It’s an exciting time for the club and clearly Cosgrove feels that too. It brings added stability and the potential of major investment, with the first phases at Kingsford already completed.
Cosgrove certainly seems excited about the new era that dawns at Pittodrie.
