We’re almost there in terms of learning the four teams who will compete in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.

Hearts dispatched of Dundee in a cracking cup tie on Friday night, Sander Kartum’s brilliant double and an unfortunate own goal from Simon Murray doing the damage.

Aberdeen joined them in the hat with a comfortable 4-1 thumping of Queen’s Park yesterday, with Dons boss Jimmy Thelin keeping a lid on things post-match.

Hibs took on Celtic yesterday and hoped to do a double over the holders to progress to the last four, but lost 2-0 in the end.

The final last eight tie will then be played tonight when Championship promotion hopefuls Livingston take on the Premiership’s bottom side St Johnstone.

We will then know our four semi-finalists with the draw to follow to decide who will face each other at Hampden.
