The Dons played Celtic at this stage in the competition last year, eventually losing 3-0. Hearts and Hibs meanwhile are just off the back of a Premiership Edinburgh derby, in which the Jambos sent a clear warning to their rivals with a 3-1 win.

Now it’s been confirmed when these two battles will take place. For Hearts and Hibs, it’s an early start, with their kick-off time set for 12:15 on Saturday 11th April. The match will also be shown on the BBC and Premier Sports.

Aberdeen Celtic meanwhile will take place the next day with a 3pm kick-off, a game also set to be broadcast live on TV.

A place in the Scottish Cup final awaits the victor of these two ties, which will play out before the Premiership season concludes due to Hampden’s use at Euro 2020.
