Clevid Dikamona has received plenty of plaudits from Hearts fans after his move yesterday.
The Jambos are having to cut wages by 50% across the board as the financial toll of the Covid-19 pandemic hits Tynecastle. SPFL football is on hold for now alongside many other major events globally, with a return date currently unknown.
It means that clubs across the country have been left scrambling for revenue streams, with common ones like gate receipts and hospitality not forthcoming in the foreseeable future.
Hearts have taken drastic measures and Dikamona’s did what he can to help. The defender has announced that whilst it is his wish to remain a Jambo, he will reject a 50% pay-cut and instead terminate his deal now for nothing.
This will allow him to return to France and Hearts have one extra wage off the books. A cherished player in Hearts fans’ eyes anyway, Dikamona has watched his stock sore with the Gorgie faithful after his selfless move.
Love you Clev.

You are above anything else a man of integrity – the fact you are a @JamTarts player makes me very proud.
Health comes first for all families.
When football starts again, all clubs will see who the real stars & who have the best interests of their club at heart – you are one.
