Hearts fans have a new hero in Aaron Hickey after his derby day heroics.
The 17-year-old full-back turned in a magnificent display that was capped off by a brilliant winner.

His side were trailing via a Stevie Mallan wonder goal, but an Uche Ikpeazu effort and his effort from distance secured a 2-1 Jambos victory over Hibs.
It handed the Tynecastle side their first win since March and provided a rare bit of immense positivity for under-fire manager Craig Levein.
Some Hearts fans have posted on Twitter their appreciation of Hickey and his derby display.

Hickey seals much-needed positive day at Hearts
With fan protests, no wins in months and the club’s position at the bottom of the Premiership all worrying negatives at Hearts prior to the Hibs win, this was a tense derby game.

The Jambos haven’t had much to smile about over the past few months, so this is some much needed positivity for them.
It doesn’t get much better than beating your neighbours in their own backyard. It was made even sweeter in the manner Hearts accomplished that feat, coming from behind to win via a pretty special goal for Hickey.
He can’t legally drink yet but Hickey will be the toast of Gorgie over the next couple of days. His goal makes him the youngest ever scorer in an Edinburgh derby and he picked his moment brilliantly.

Both Hearts and Hickey need to build on this, starting with a League Cup quarter-final against Aberdeen. Win that and the Tynecastle side have taken big steps on the road to redemption.
Hickey has certainly put plenty of smiles on Jambo faces after his Easter Road exploits.
