The SPFL have announced the key dates for next season as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar forces a rejig to the season and sees the Premiership shutdown for five weeks between November 12/13 and December 17/18.
With clubs in the top-flight out of action for five weeks just before Christmas, there will be no January winter break at the beginning of 2023 for teams to prepare for the second-half of the campaign.
All four divisions will get underway on the final two days of July with the group stage of the Premier Sports Cup taking place from July 9 to July 24.

The World Cup also pushes the final weeks of the Premiership season back by two weeks compared to the current campaign with the final round of fixtures taking place on May 27/28.
Teams in the Championship, League One and League Two will see their season end on the weekend weekend of May 5/6 ahead of the playoffs getting kicking off.
The winter World Cup has also forced the SPFL to move the final two rounds of the League Cup into the new year with the semi-finals on January 14/15 and the final taking place at Hampden on February 26.
