St Johnstone have confirmed the return of Glenn Middleton as the Rangers youngster leaves Ibrox on loan again.
Middleton joined St Johnstone on loan in January and played a starring role in the club’s historic League Cup and Scottish Cup double. Doubts remained over his Rangers future and the Ibrox club have sent him to Perth for further Scottish Premiership experience. He will stay with Callum Davidson’s side for the entire 2021/22 term.

With a free-kick goal in the Scottish Cup semi-final as Saints proceeded to win the trophy, along with netting the winner to seal a top six league spot, Middleton has legendary status at McDiarmid Park alongside the rest of last season’s squad. The Rangers talent spoke last season of his desire to return to Perth from Ibrox.
It has now turned into reality, sealing a fantastic 24 hours for St Johnstone after drawing 1-1 with Galatasaray in the Europa League third qualifying round.
The Rangers loanee could feature against the Turkish giants in the second leg next week.
