Oran Kearney’s St Mirren overhaul has continued as three more players departed the Buddies on Wednesday.
Dean Lyness, Conor O’Keefe and Jeff King have all left the club, as confirmed on Twitter by the Saints.

Lyness and O’Keefe were products of the club’s youth programme while King only joined in the summer.
Jordan Kirkpatrick, Ian McShane, Adam Hammill, Josh Heaton, Ryan Edwards and Alfie Jones have all departed so far this month already.
Despite the raft of exits, only Greg Tansey has joined Kearney’s squad this month.

After Alan Stubbs’ disastrous reign as manager, Kearney has set about rebuilding his squad.
With only two points separating the Buddies and the bottom of the table, Kearney needs results quickly.
The Paisley side saw a huge turnover of players in the summer and look set to repeat that again this month.

The threat of an immediate return to the Championship looms large and moving on so many players clears up funds for Kearney.
He’ll need to move quickly though before if his side are to get new faces in before they return to action following the winter break.
It seems likely that some players could come in on loan with a view to a more comprehensive rebuild in summer.
Bringing Tansey in is a good start but it’s going to take more to guarantee another year in the top flight.
