Southampton man Stuart Armstrong will not take part in Israel v Scotland on Wednesday night.
The Southampton star has been a key player on the domestic scene at St Mary’s this season, with Ralph Hasenhüttl’s men currently sitting fourth in the Premier League.

For Scotland it’s been a frustrating couple of camps in terms of minutes. He missed the October matches due to a positive Covid-19 test before being an unused substitute in the historic penalty shootout win over Serbia.
A start was had on Sunday, Armstrong playing 87 minutes in a UEFA Nations League match with Slovakia, which Scotland lost 1-0.
It’ll be his last involvement for the year after picking up a booking in the first half of this contest.

Action in Israel this Wednesday as Scotland take on a familiar foe is off the table as Armstrong is now suspended for the tie. His next match will now likely be Wolves v Southampton, which takes place on November 23.
