Interest from English League One clubs in Dundee United’s Jamie Robson is heating up as Sunderland enter the fray for his signature (DR).
Lincoln City are believed to have declared an interest in the left-back and there have been talks over his Scottish Premiership future. Sunderland are also thought to be ‘interested’ in Robson, with Dundee United aware they could lose Robson.

The 23-year-old has progressed through the United academy after making his debut in 2015. He spent some time away from the club on loan at Brechin City in 2016 but looked set to be a mainstay under new head coach Thomas Courts. Lincoln City and Sunderland interest could change things.
Sunderland have been linked with a growing list of Premiership talent this summer. Guy Melamed and Jamie McCart have been linked after successful seasons at St Johnstone, Hibs’ Josh Doig was mentioned briefly and rumours surrounding Motherwell captain Stephen O’Donnell have been squashed.
Courts started his reign at Dundee United with a 2-0 loss to Aberdeen in the Tannadice club’s first match of the new Premiership season.
