The display of QPR striker Lyndon Dykes didn’t go unnoticed by the Scotland faithful on Thursday night.
Steve Clarke convinced Dykes to choose Scotland over Australia earlier this year and it has been an inspired decision, Dykes shining in every one of his international appearances so far following a move to QPR from Livingston at club level.

His display against Serbia was his finest, turning in a heroically tireless shift as Scotland secured Euro 2020 qualification, winning 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes.
Dykes set the tone in attack with his high-intensity work and non-stop running.
The Serbian defence couldn’t handled him, the QPR man continuing to provide the focal point Scotland have missed for years.

Now a chance to play at Euro 2020 awaits him and his teammates next year after an epic shift in Belgrade. It’s fair to say Scotland fans were loving his latest performance in navy blue.
