West Brom are looking for a new manager after sacking Darren Moore last night – and Dons fans are split over whether they want Derek McInnes to leave Pittodrie and return to his former club.
Moore was sacked after a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town yesterday – despite still sitting fourth in the table – and that has led Dons fans to suggest that West Brom will come in for their former captain.

McInnes spent three years as a player at the Hawthorns and has been mentioned as a possible candidate the last few times the Baggies have been looking for a manager.
The Dons face a massive Scottish Cup quarter-final replay on Tuesday with Rangers and knocking Steven Gerrard’s side out would no doubt win him some brownie points with the West Brom board.

Since taking charge at Aberdeen, McInnes has led the Dons to their most successful spell since Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge.
Under McInnes, the Reds have finished second in the Scottish Premiership in the last three seasons, lifted the Scottish League Cup and been regular in cup semi-finals and finals.
With the Baggies looking to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, moving for their former skipper might just be the best option for them.

Aberdeen fans are split with some feeling McInnes’ time is up at Pittodrie after taking them as far as he can, while others want to see him stay in the Granite City and continue to build.
