Dundee United are the latest club to be hit with a Covid-19 related problem. Three members of staff have tested positive for the virus.
However, the good news for the club is that the rest of the staff have reportedly tested negative. None of the trio that tested positive are players, and as it stands the club’s upcoming match against Livingston at the weekend will go ahead.
Club will keep in contact with authorities
The report also discloses that Tannadice side will keep in contact with the SPFL and SFA to keep them updated about the situation.

The last thing that any club wants to deal with is a Covid-19 outbreak. Dundee United will obviously be concerned about the trio of staff members affected, but there will be a relief that there has been no other positive tests.
Scottish football has been dealing with Covid-19 related issues since practically the start of the season. A host of teams have had games postponed.
Multiple teams have had games cancelled
Celtic, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, St Mirren and Hamilton have all had games postponed. The problem has now spread to the top division in England, where Newcastle’s game against Aston Villa is the first to be postponed due to a virus outbreak.

Thankfully that does not seem to be happening with Dundee United. Hopefully the club can go ahead with their upcoming clash against Dundee United. As it stands there seems to be no worries about the game being off, and that will be a great relief to all at the club.
