Newcastle United talent Tom Allan is hoping to take his previous experience of being out on loan with him to the Scottish Championship and Greenock Morton.
Cappielow manager Gus MacPherson has signed both Allan and Newcastle United teammate Oisin McEntee on season-long loan deals. Allan, an attack-minded player, has spent time out on loan at Accrington Stanley before and believes it’s experience which will help him at Morton.

He said (TTV): “I am delighted to sign and I can’t wait to get going now. It was a long transfer window but I am glad that it is sorted out and I am raring go. I was saying to the manager that I was surprised by the stadium and the facilities. The boys have been great so far so I can’t wait to get started.
“I learned a lot from being down in England’s League One and hopefully, some of what I learned there can be taken here with me. I hope it stands me in good stead. Me and Oisin have been talking about it for a while and we always hoped to go together. It got done on the last day and I am delighted about that.
“I am not one to set loads of goals but I want to add some spark going forward.”
