Former Watford defender Tommie Hoban is set to join Crewe Alexandra following his time at Aberdeen (DR).
The defender first joined Aberdeen from Watford on loan in 2018 before returning to the club permanently last year. He was released by new manager Stephen Glass earlier this summer and English League One side Crewe is likely his new club.

Aberdeen meanwhile have stepped up their recruitment efforts, signing long-term target Christian Ramirez. The 30-year-old striker has two caps for the United States national team and joins Aberdeen from MLS side Houston Dynamo.
Manager Stephen Glass said: “Securing a centre forward was vital for us and, when we started looking, Christian immediately became a priority. We have had to work really hard as a Club to get this finalised and we are delighted to be able to add a proven goal scorer who is still at a good age and is a full internationalist.
“We have no doubt he is going to add great value to our team and help all the individuals within it.”
