West Ham star Robert Snodgrass has made a generous donation to Wishaw Juniors after some of their facilities were burnt down.
The junior side’s new changing rooms and hospitality facilities were set on fire over the weekend, in what the club have described as an arson attack.

A Crowdfunding page has been set up to help with the club’s rebuild costs. Snodgrass has pledged some cash to the cause, donating £500 and wishing the club ‘all the best’ with rebuilding the damaged areas.
Wishaw Juniors benefit massively from Snodgrass pledge
This is a brilliant gesture from the Irons man. Playing in the Premier League, he will be making big money, so it’s nice to see him invest some of that back into local communities.
£500 is big for a club like Wishaw Juniors. They rely solely on volunteers and donations to help keep the club afloat. Donations like the one Snodgrass has made will allow them to hopefully rebuild their lost facilities.

The mindless thug that burnt them down must be ashamed of themselves. It’s nothing more than a mindless attack on the community that benefits no one. The mind boggles as to why someone would commit such a terrible deed.
Their current Crowdfunding total at the time of writing is over £2,400. Hopefully Wishaw can get enough money in to rebuild what they have lost.
