Hearts drew 0-0 with Ross County at home in their latest mishap, leading to many more voices calling for the head of Craig Levein.
The Jambos boss is not a popular man around Gorgie right now. In a poll conducted by Hearts podcast Scarves Around the Funnel, 87% of voters said they want Levein out.

After a promising start to last season where they won five league games on the spin and made a cup semi-final, things have gone sour. They’ve won just eight in all competitions during 2019 and are without a league win since March.
It seems as though the fans have well and truly turned on him, but what are Levein’s next steps?
Surely Levein can’t survive much more at Hearts
The chances of him being sacked are low. With a seemingly decent relationship with owner Ann Budge, his Director of Football role and his overall presence around Tynecastle to factor in, it’s unlikely that he’ll get sacked.

That course of events will only play out if the Jambos are nearer the bottom of the league. The way they’re playing just now though, they might not be far off it if things don’t change.
Levein isn’t exactly known for a daring and beautiful style of football. The problem is he plays a brand which is just as bad to watch as it is at picking up points. They’ve collected 10 points from their last 16 league games.
There are good players capable of playing football in this Jambos side. Levein’s got them playing long ball though. Nobody is expecting the maroon equivalent of Barcelona, but something’s got to give.

Just two league games have been won at home this year. The minimum an adult is paying for a season ticket is £330. It isn’t exactly cheap and those paying certainly aren’t getting their money’s worth from those out on the park.
Not many managers would survive the run Levein’s on currently. Even with his two roles, Hearts can’t afford to keep walking the path they are currently on.
This season will be a write off if action isn’t taken soon. It might just be that Levein may have to face the axe for things to improve at Tynecastle.
