Hibernian have confirmed that midfielder Dylan Tait has left the Easter Road club to join Championship side Kilmarnock on loan for the rest of the season – becoming the second Hibee to head for the Ayrshire side this month.
After Dan Mackay headed to Rugby Park, Tait heads back out on loan after spending the first half of the season with Killie’s Championship rivals Raith Rovers.

Kilmarnock currently sit third in the Championship with 37 points from 21 games. and are four points behind surprise leaders Arbroath with a game in hand.
New Killie boss Derek McInnes has wasted little time in strengthening his squad after his appointment at Rugby Park and he’ll be hoping Tait’s experience in the Championship can help them overhaul Arbroath.
Tait will wear number 48 for Killie and trained with his new teammates ahead of a possible debut in this weekend’s Scottish Cup tie with Dundee United.
“I know the league well having played for Raith Rovers over the past two seasons and I know what is required to win games at this level,” Tait said.
“The chance to join a massive club like Killie, who are looking to gain promotion was vital for me.
“The manager had a big part to play in me coming here because he’s worked at the top level in Scotland and has helped to improve lots of good players. I’m really excited about the opportunity of working with him and hopefully he can help develop my game and we can be successful together at Kilmarnock.”
