‘Special day’ for St Johnstone legend
“I am so happy. This is a special day for me and for my family,” Booth said.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time at St Johnstone and it feels like home. I’ve had the best times of my career at McDiarmid Park. To know I’m going to be here until 2024 is very satisfying.
“I’d like to thank the manager for his belief in me. He and his staff are first class and they’ve been very good to me.
“Scott Boyd and the board have also been a pleasure to deal with and it’s great to get this done and dusted.
“There is so much to look forward to at this Football Club. It’s a great dressing-room and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
