Derry City have confirmed the signing of Liam Boyce as the Hearts forward seals his Tynecastle exit.
Hearts have been busy just eleven days into the January transfer window with incomings and outgoings aplenty.
Elton Kabangu and Jamie McCart were recruited on loan from Union Saint-Gilloise and permanently from Rotherham respectively.
The Jambos are also interested in signing Kilmarnock winger Danny Armstrong, but the need for additions equally requires departures to free up wages.
Kye Rowles is set to make a £600k switch to DC United, with Andres Salazar already away having returned to his parent club Atletico Nacional.
Now, it’s been announced that Boyce has left Hearts to sign for Derry City.

Liam Boyce leaves Hearts for Derry City
Boyce has been with the Jambos since 2020 but felt it was the right time for him to move back home to his native Northern Ireland.
The 33-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Derry City having scored 36 goals in 124 games for Hearts.
Derry City boss reacts to Boyce arrival
Derry City manager Tiernan Lynch said: “It’s great to get another International footballer into the club and we’re delighted to have him at the Brandywell.
“You only have to look at Liam’s record in England and Scotland over the last ten years, to see the quality that he brings. He’s a proven goalscorer and a great addition for us.
“We’re looking forward to our training camp next week and it’ll be an ideal opportunity for Liam to get to know the rest of the boys ahead of the new season.”
