SPFL sides have just hours left to wrap up their January transfer business and reshape their squads for the rest of the season.
The madness will soon be over and managers, particularly in the Premiership, can then relax somewhat before it all kicks off again in the summer.
Top-flight clubs in Scotland have been extremely busy this month. Hearts have made four signings thus far with boss Neil Critchley not ruling out further business.
Aberdeen have spent big to reinforce their options amid an extremely tough run of form for the Pittodrie outfit, while Hibs have only signed Alasana Manneh so far.
St Johnstone, Dundee and Ross County have also wasted no time in bringing in a raft of fresh faces – and there’s still time to add more.
So when does the Scottish transfer window for January 2025 close? Not The Old Firm delivers you all the details below.

When is January 2025 transfer deadline day in Scotland?
Scottish clubs can sign and register new players up until Monday, February 3 at 11pm GMT.
It’s unusual for the January window to close officially three days into February. We understand the English and Scottish leagues were keen to bring the deadline in line with the rest of Europe.
Can SPFL clubs sign players past the January deadline?
New players can still be registered past the 11pm GMT deadline but SPFL clubs mist submit relevant paperwork to be granted an extra hour to get deals finalised.
Once that hour has gone, clubs will only be able to sign free agents or strike emergency loan deals until the start of the 2025 summer transfer window.
