According to Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie, Hearts are one of a number of clubs interested in MK Dons forward Chuks Aneke.
The forward is also reportedly being courted by Hibs, as well as numerous Championship clubs. It comes after he scored an impressive 19 goals last season.

His contract expires at the end of this month. Hearts are in need of a striker and Aneke would be a brilliant fit.
Aneke is like Uche Ikpeazu with a prolific touch
The ex-Arsenal youngster used to be deployed as an attacking midfielder. Since moving to the forward line, he has found real success.
His physicality makes him a real handful. He’s also a great team player, capable of making opportunities for his teammates.

Aneke might not be the quickest, but that doesn’t really matter. The sheer power he manages to pick up when charging forward means it’s very difficult to stop him when he’s in full flow.
The MK Dons man is very similar to Ikpeazu. He’s got all the physical traits the big Jambos forward has, but there is one key difference. Aneke is a deadly finisher capable of scoring a barrel of goals every season.
He’s very accurate from anywhere in the penalty box and from about 10 yards outside it too. Craig Levein is in dire need of a goalscorer. Not only will Aneke bring goals, but he won’t need to change the tactics he’s opted for through thick and thin at Tynecastle.

As always money will play its part as Hearts can’t offer what some of the English teams could offer Aneke. However, they should still table their best offer for the forward, as he’d be an excellent acquisition.
