Any sort of Premiership title challenge from Aberdeen could hinge on their result against Celtic on Wednesday evening.
The Dons and Celtic could not be separated in the league until Jimmy Thelin’s side recently dropped consecutive points against St Mirren, Hibs and Hearts.
Aberdeen trail Celtic by just four points, however, so a massive victory under the lights at Pittodrie this week could reignite hope.
Though defeat could all but end Aberdeen fans’ hopes of keeping the pressure on Celtic all the way. In that event, the Dons would fall seven points behind with one more game played.
