Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has named his squad to take on NK Rijeka in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie – and Dons fans are optimistic after seeing the side the Pittodrie boss has picked.
A 3-2 win at Pittodrie over the weekend against the Jambos will give McInnes’ side confidence but it could be a tough night for the Dons if they aren’t at their very best.
While there aren’t any surprises in McInnes starting XI, there is a place on the bench for new signing Zak Vyner and the returning Mikey Devlin – however Craig Bryson is still unable to take his place in the side.
Dons fans are delighted with the side McInnes has picked and think it gives them the best chance possible of bringing the tie back to Aberdeen in a position where the Dons can still qualify.
