The sides remaining in the Scottish Cup at the quarter-final stage will feel this could be their year.
When one half of the Old Firm is knocked out early on, you always feel your chances are significantly boosted with only one to potentially have to get past at a later date.
So with Rangers knocked out of at the fifth round stage, Aberdeen, Dundee, Hearts, Livingston, St Johnstone and the Spiders would have been looking forward to the Scottish Cup draw for the last eight.
That was carried out after Hearts defeated St Mirren on penalties on a night of drama in the last game of the previous round.
The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend on March 8-9 as we get down to the nitty gritty of the final stages.
Celtic will remain favourites but the rest of the clubs will fancy their chances.
