The January transfer window was Hearts’ first with full use of Jamestown Analytics.
The Jambos struck a deal with Jamestown which enables them to use Tony Bloom’s firm’s data algorithm in player recruitment as well as in other areas.
It is ahead of an expected investment into Hearts from Bloom with talks still ongoing on that front and an announcement expected early this year.
The data was incorporated into the Tynecastle club’s recruitment in January and resulted in the signings of Elton Kabangu, Jamie McCart, Michael Steinwender, Sander Kartum and Harry Milne.
Kanabgu already has eight goals in 11 games while Kartum’s Scottish Cup double against Dundee showed his quality.
Steinwender and McCart have also displayed their quality and are building up a centre-back partnership.

Michael Steinwender a ‘real find’ for Hearts
Steinwender in particular looks a classy operator for Hearts, solid and assured defensively and also good on the ball and breaking lines with passes.
The Austrian defender turned in another top display during the 2-0 win over Ross County at the weekend and the man who plays behind him is a big fan.
Craig Gordon said in his post-match presser: “Yeah, I think he’s done really well since he came in. It’s obviously a big change for him, a different style of football from what he’s probably used to.
“Coming in from European leagues, it’s going to take a little bit of time to get used to Scottish football. It is different.
“He’s done exceptionally well. It looks like a real find for us and somebody that will go from strength to strength. He’s got a few games now and you can see his confidence is growing within the team. I think he’s a really good player.
“I think we’ve done well in the January window to bring in a bit of quality that’s definitely helped the team.”
Gordon backs Shankland to shine
While Hearts teenager James Wilson was handed a dream first Scotland call-up for the Nations League play-off against Greece, his more experienced teammate Lawrence Shankland was left out by Steve Clarke.
The 29-year-old has had a frustrating season in terms of goals setting a very high bar in that respect over the previous two seasons.
But Gordon is backing him to bounce back and get back in the international set-up.
He added: “I think he’d obviously rather be in there. It’s up to him now to get himself back in. I’m sure he will. He’s a fantastic football player.
“He’s been vital to a lot of the stuff we’ve achieved here at Hearts. I’m sure it’s a temporary thing. He’ll work hard, he’ll get himself back in there and I’m sure he’ll be scoring goals and looking like the striker that we all know he is.
“Strikers thrive on confidence, you look at [Kevin] Nisbet at Aberdeen who’s banging them in lately. It’s taken a while for him to find his feet at Aberdeen and now he’s on a great run of form.
“That’s the striker you know is in there and I think he’ll be the same once he gets one or two goals. I’m sure he’ll go on a run and get back to scoring goals.”
