Hibs are in a much better place than they were even a month ago.
Since the embarrassing 4-1 defeat away to Dundee, the Hibees have played seven games and lost just one, away to Celtic.
That has included a massive Edinburgh derby win over Hearts and a fighting draw against Aberdeen when they twice looked down and out.
Manager David Gray has switched to a 3-5-2 which is getting more out of his side and individuals like Jack Iredale, the Cadden brothers and Martin Boyle have really stepped up their game.
None of this means they won’t be striving to keep improving and Not the Old Firm already revealed Hibs’ transfer priorities for January.
That includes a goalkeeper and there have been links to Zander Clark at rivals Hearts as well as Rotherham’s Cameron Dawson.

Gray quizzed on Hibs transfer links
Gray had both of those links put to him post-match after the win over Kilmarnock and wouldn’t be drawn on specific names.
But he insists the recruitment team at the club are working hard to get the right deals done.
He said: “That department has never stopped working hard. You always need to be proactive but nothing can be done until January 1st when the window opens.
“We’re conscious of the fact that when the window opens there are always ins and outs, and anything the club can do to make us feel like we’re taking things forward, or if something can be done to make us better, and it can be done, we’ll look to try and do that.
“But at the same time, where we are just now, I’m delighted with everyone and I think we’re in a good place and a good moment.
“My attention is already moving towards St Johnstone, with the amount of games we’ve got in this short period of time, and once the window opens I’m sure all the speculation will start again.”
Hibs triple injury doubt
Hibs were forced to withdraw Iredale and captain Joe Newell, only just back from an injury issue, against Killie.
While Elie Youan missed out completely after picking up a knock in the derby.
Delivering a triple injury update, Gray said: “Joe went into a tackle in the corner and overstretched his groin a little bit, so we’ll just have to see how that calms down.
“Hopefully it’s nothing too serious, but he has had a bit of a groin issue as well over the last few weeks, so we’ll see how that one is.
“Jack rolled his ankle and has a little bit of an issue with it, but hopefully that’s nothing too serious either.
“But it will be about getting them in tomorrow and assessing them. It’s too early to decide exactly what’s happened, so once it settles down we’ll have a clearer picture, but hopefully nothing too serious for the two of them.”
On Youan, he added: “Yeah, he hurt his foot in the derby, so he just missed out today. The good thing is it’s more of an impact, contact injury, so once the swelling goes down it should just be a couple of days.
“There’s nothing structural there we don’t think, which is positive. But this game just came too quickly, but fingers crossed he should be available for Thursday.”
