After the Daily Record claimed David Turnbull dramatically turned down Celtic, It looks like his stance has paid off. He looks set for a move to the Premier League with Norwich City.
The 19-year-old has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks. Now the BBC are reporting that the midfield starlet is heading to the Canaries for talks over his future.

It shows that his stance with Celtic was the right one to take.
Norwich City have already aided a player like Turnbull
According to the Daily Express, the Motherwell youth academy product didn’t want to go to Parkhead over first team football fears. If this is the case, he was right to refuse their initial offer.
Now that deal looks dead in the water, Norwich seems like a likely home. It’s been said Turnbull is all but leaving before right enough, so until he moves, Turnbull is very much a Motherwell player.

He’ll experience Premier League football should he join the Canaries and the club have no plans to loan him out. They have already helped build up a similar player in ex-Premiership star Kenny McLean.
Their style of football has aided McLean’s development and Turnbull is a similar player. You wold like to think they could develop along a similar projectory.
Turnbull shocked a few when he turned down Celtic. Now his perseverance to get the right move for him may see him play Premier League football.
