Hibs fans have taken to Twitter to voice their fury after Paul Heckingbottom’s side threw away a two-goal lead in the final 20 minutes at home to Ross County – with some fans wanting Heckingbottom sacked.

The result means Hibs sit one point off bottom of the table – level with Hearts and St. Mirren – as what was Heckingbottom’s first ‘full’ season in charge looks like being brought to a premature end.
With only one win to their name in the league this season so far it isn’t hard to see why the Easter Road faithful’s patience has worn thin and it is difficult to see a way back for Heckingbottom in Leith.

The Hibees face Livingston on Wednesday in the league before taking heading to Hampden to face Celtic in the League Cup semi-final – and a heavy defeat in Glasgow would almost certainly be the end for him.
Fans on Twitter were apoplectic after the full-time whistle at Easter Road – with one saying they “deserve to go down” if Heckingbottom remains in charge.
