Hibs have a very busy festive fixture schedule ahead of them in the Scottish Premiership.

The club have found a resurgence in form over the last few weeks with and moved up to ninth in the table after a 3-1 victory over Ross County on Saturday.

David Gray’s men now have five games within the space of two weeks to prepare for, starting with a tricky away trip to Aberdeen this weekend.

Ahead of the rush, the club found the time to visit the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People in Edinburgh as staff and players visited as many young people as possible to spread some Christmas joy.

Hibs visit Edinburgh Children’s Hospital ahead of Christmas

Opened in March 2021, The Royal Hospital for Children and Young People provides paediatric care for children up to age of 16.

In a post on their website with a gallery of images of the visit attached, Hibs wrote: “Hibernian FC’s men’s players, women’s players, and coaching teams organised a special trip to the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital ahead of Christmas.

“In our annual visit, David Gray, Grant Scott, and their respective players met with young children, their families, and NHS staff on the ward to spread Christmas cheer and put smiles on their faces.

“The men’s and women’s full squad were also in attendance as the club split up into four separate groups to visit as many children as possible during the afternoon.

“As well as posing for pictures, and getting to know the families and the staff, the players handed out various different Christmas gifts along the way – including signed Hibs shits, selection boxes and more.”
