Inverness Caley Thistle are facing an uncertain future with the club in administration.
Caley entered administration back in October amid a financial crisis and there were huge concerns at that point about the club’s future.
Duncan Ferguson was dismissed as manager and Scott Kellacher has been in charge since, doing an admirable job despite the club’s 15-point deduction in League One.
With Dumbarton also deducted points for their own administration, ICT only had one spot to climb to get themselves out of the relegation places, and they recently overtook Annan after a fine run of form.
They may even be an outside bet for the promotion play-offs but it is a long shot.
However, their troubles off the pitch have not improved. Administrators BDO assumed control of the club and had set a deadline of yesterday for offers from prospective new buyers.
That deadline has now passed without any offer forthcoming.

Inverness update fans on financial situation
Inverness issued an update on the situation today and detailed the factors putting new owners off.
Those were concerns over outstanding loans from former directors of the club, the complicated makeup of the current shareholdings and uncertainties around ownership of land surrounding the stadium
Former chairman Alan Savage has been providing funds to help the club through to the end of the season and has been approached about helping them beyond that.
Mr Savage has indicated he would be willing to provide 25 per cent of the acquisition price of the club 25 per cent of the funding requirements for the next two seasons.
Statement from Inverness administrators BDO
A spokesperson for BDO said: “We appreciate that this latest update will be disappointing for players, fans and the wider community.
“Given what has been achieved both on and off the pitch throughout the Administration period, we would very much like to see a sale of the club to ensure that its future is secured and we would encourage all parties to cooperate in this endeavour.
“We are grateful for Alan Savage’s ongoing financial support and would urge any interested parties to come forward with a view to acquire the club. The JAs would welcome the opportunity to discuss and provide a guide in respect of an acceptable price.”
