Jason Kerr says his focus is with St Johnstone after the Saints centre-back was linked with a move to English Championship club Bournemouth.
Kerr captained St Johnstone to a historic League Cup and Scottish Cup double last season. It has attracted plenty of interest south of the border, with Bournemouth the biggest team mentioned so far. But with a Europa League qualifier against PSV or Galatasaray to look forward to, Kerr is shutting down transfer talk.
He said (Sky): “It’s obviously flattering to get a lot of interest, a few boys are getting a lot of interest, but we’re at St Johnstone right now and we have a lot of important games coming up in the league and in Europe as well.
“We’re trying to focus on pre-season as much as we can, and for me it’s all private between my agent and the club and that’s kind of it. I’m a St Johnstone player right now, I love the club and I love what we’ve done and I’m just hungry for more success.”
