Jimmy Thelin would be forgiven for wondering if there was some sort of curse hanging over Aberdeen at the moment.
The Dons haven’t experienced that winning feeling in the league since November 9, the only victory in that time coming against League Two Elgin in the Scottish Cup.
Their season has unraveled as after looking like certs for third and potential challengers for second, they could now face a fight to finish in the top six unless they can arrest their slide.
Not only that, but Aberdeen are also suffering from a bit of an injury crisis.
Gavin Molloy and Ester Sokler are long-term absentees as they joined early season goal machine Pape Gueye on the sidelines, though he has since returned.
Vicente Besuijen and Jack Milne are another duo who will be missing for some time.
Goalkeeper and key man Dimitar Mitov still has some recovery to go before returning between the sticks.

Jamie McGrath injury forces Thelin into Aberdeen rethink
The latest injury issue may force Jimmy Thelin to delve back into the transfer market for another midfielder, with Jamie McGrath ruled out for months with a shoulder problem. The creative attacking midfielder had been a key man early in the season.
Thelin admits it may have to be looked at but that there may not be enough time left in the window, which will close on Monday night.
He said: “It’s also in the mix. You also have to think about the long-term and trust the players here and try to find solutions with the squad you have. And don’t panic.
“But let’s see what we’re going to do. If we’re going to have some more or not in the window this time.”
The Dons boss is already looking to add another attacker after bringing in defenders Kristers Tobers, Alfie Dorrington and Alexander Jensen and winger Jeppe Okkels.
McGrath wanted by Hearts and Hibs
McGrath may not play much more football for Aberdeen given how long he is out for and that his contract is up in the summer.
The Republic of Ireland international has been in talks with Pittodrie chiefs for months with no agreement able to be reached as of yet.
And it has now emerged both Hearts and Hibs have expressed an interest in signing McGrath for next season, with both Edinburgh clubs having had interest in the past.
The 28-year-old also has interest from clubs in MLS and will have to weigh up his options.
