Kevin Nisbet has certainly contributed during his short Aberdeen loan to date.
The former Hibs striker has four goals in all competitions since swapping Millwall for Pittodrie for the season.
He is one of several of Jimmy Thelin’s signings making a big impact as part of the Dons march to the top of the table, where they are equal on points with Celtic after an unbeaten and near perfect start.
Pape Gueye remains Aberdeen’s top scorer despite his injury and Nisbet is one of the players to have stepped up in his absence.

Joe Harper urges Aberdeen to sign Nisbet
Nisbet is of course only on loan at Pittodrie from Millwall, where he has a contract until 2026 after signing from the Hibees for around £2million.
Looking ahead to next season, Aberdeen have key men Jack MacKenzie, Jamie McGrath and Duk, as well as Ante Palaversa out of contract.
While they will hope to hang onto them, there are no guarantees. So could they look to do a deal for their current loanee?
Dons legend Joe Harper has called on them to do so.
He told the Press & Journal: “Aberdeen should move to sign on-loan Millwall striker Kevin Nisbet on a permanent long-term contract.
“Scotland international Nisbet has made a positive impact at Pittodrie since arriving on a season-long loan from the English Championship club.
“The 27-year-old has proven throughout his career that he is a goalscorer.
“And he has continued to show he knows where the back of the net is having banged in four goals in eight appearances.
“As a former striker myself I can see how good Nisbet is and how strong an asset he can be for Aberdeen and boss Jimmy Thelin moving forward.
“Nisbet’s hold-up play is impressive, he is strong in the air, he has game vision and he scores goals.
“His quality was shown with the explosive impact off the bench in the 4-1 win against Dundee at Pittodrie.”
Could Aberdeen afford Nisbet?
Nisbet cost Millwall £2m when the signed him from Hibs, and that was just over a year ago.
While they will want to recoup some of that, given how things went in the Championship for him, they are unlikely to get the full whack. You’d think there asking price would be at least £1m though.
Aberdeen coughed up close to that for Topi Keskinen in the summer and while they would have to push the boat out further in this instance, it is not outwith the realms of possibility.
Jimmy Thelin’s side are strong contenders for a top two finish this season and prize money from that as well as European qualification would ensure a bigger budget ahead of next season.
