The recriminations continue for Hibs after their latest damaging defeat left them in trouble.
Hibees fans made their feelings about the club clear yesterday by spraying ‘Sack the board’ on a wall outside Easter Road.
Manager David Gray was adamant after Dundee that he must shoulder a lot of the blame for what is going on as the buck stops with him.
But raging Hibs hero Marvin Bartley launched a furious attack on the players on what he perceived as a lack of hurt about where they find themselves, urging them to take responsibility for their predicament.
They don’t have long to stew over it with Aberdeen visiting Easter Road tomorrow before a trip to Motherwell on Saturday.

Stewart latest attack on Hibs
Pundit Michael Stewart has been very outspoken on the goings on at Hibs and their failings both on and off the pitch.
The former Easter Road midfielder was on co-commentary duty for Premier Sports at Dens Park and he didn’t hold back once again.
The board were in his sights once again, as were the players, but Gray also drew criticism for some of the decision making.
Stewart thinks Hibs have their worst value for money squad EVER and fears they don’t have the stomach for a relegation fight.
He said: “The lack of any substance is alarming. They released statements and there’s not even a name on them.
“Which, again, I think just sums up the club as a whole. No leadership. Statements with no names on it. Players with no fight.
“Lack of quality. And when you’re making substitutions and bringing on the likes of Lewis Miller to defend, you’re in real trouble.
“Yes, I feel for the manager. He’s left with a squad that is lacking real character. But there’s some decisions that are made that are… you certainly wouldn’t be making those decisions when you’re under pressure.
“This is a squad, this is a team, that have got a level of money being spent on the squad that is astronomical in regards to, you know, what Hibs have historically spent.
“It’s probably the worst when it comes to value for money. Head of Recruitment? The owner? The same person (who answers for it)?
“I mean, look, the real danger for Hibs is that they’re bottom of the table, spiralling out of control. And they’re not going to be far away from the turn of the year. I don’t see them really getting themselves out of that.
“You look at this season now and you think, they’re going to be in a relegation battle. Do they have the characters that are capable of scrapping in a relegation battle? I’m fearful for Hibs. I really am.”
Joe Newell admits Hibs are in fight
Hibs captain Joe Newell was not shirking anything when asked if they face a battle against the drop.
The midfielder was realistic about where they find themselves a third of the way into the season, but did also insists things can quickly be turned around.
He said: “Well, we’re a third of the way through the season now, 13 games played.
“So, yeah, I’m not going to lie to you, we obviously are.
“Things can change very quickly, is what I would say. If you win Tuesday night and win on Saturday, you don’t know where that puts you in the league.
“And then you know what a little run can do for you in this league. We personally won’t be looking at it like that, obviously, because there’s still a long way to go. But you can’t deny where we are in the league.”
