Motherwell confirmed team news vs Rangers as Stuart Kettlewell makes 2 changes

Motherwell are one of the stories of the season perhaps not being talked about enough.

Stuart Kettlewell’s side have quietly gone about their business and while the likes of Aberdeen and Dundee United have been talked up, the Steelmen actually beat the latter midweek to take their place in fourth in the Premiership.

They probably haven’t had the plaudits they’ve deserved outside of teen sensation Lennon Miller, with other individual stand outs like Liam Gordon, Ewan Wilson and Stephen O’Donnell.

An early season march of five wins from ten league games has Well in contention for the European spots.

And while it is early days an encouraging sign is they’ve managed to maintain it while having to put up with injuries and suspensions, which potentially bodes well for when they have a fuller squad.

A cup final and even a trophy would turn a good season into a remarkable one but Rangers stand in the way in today’s Premier Sports Cup semi-final, with Celtic lying in wait for the winner.
